JSR Dominates the Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Endurance Run!
Trey Robinson wins the Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Ultra, on June 2.
Our very own Trey Robinson won the Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Endurance Run
in his debut 100-miler in a time of 18:33:07 (11:03 per mile pace).
Alec Bath and Matt Condron put in amazing performances of their own, and
all others who were there deserve huge credit for fantastic crewing and
support.
Alec finished 5th overall in 19:35:44 (11:41 per mile
pace), and Matt finished in 21:14:01 (12:39 per mile pace). This was
Alec's debut 100 miler as well, and Matt's fourth, but his second best
100 miler.
Trey was able to pour it on and "put the hammer down" in the last third of the race, and closed a 26 minute gap on the leader from mile 63 to mile 93. Incredibly, he ran the very last mile in under 7 minutes. All of this, and it was his 29th birthday! What a great birthday present.
